Christmas Traditons

Today, Christmas cards come in all shapes and sizes, from small and simple to big and colorful. The big American producer of Christmas cards, Hallmark, employs a whole army of Christmas card designers who produce new Christmas cards every season. The most popular cards still today are the old fashioned and nostalgic ones with sledges and pixies, and a big, chubby Santa Claus in a red and white coat. Since the birth of the internet card in the middle of the 90’s, sending electronic Christmas cards has become the new Christmas tradition.

Many homepages offer easy-to-use digital Christmas cards which simply require the user to write an email address, a traditional Christmas greeting, and finish by clicking “send”. The card arrives in the receiver’s inbox, and the old Christmas cards tradition is carried on in a modern way.

Christmas Card Greeting

I have a list of folks I know,
all written in a book
And every year when Christmas comes,
I go and take a look.

And that is when I realize
that these names are a part
Not of the book they’re written in,
but of my very heart.

For each name stands for someone
Who has crossed my path sometime
And in that meeting they’ve become
The Rhythm in each Rhyme.

And while it sounds fantastic,
for me to make this claim,
I really feel that I’m composed
of each remembered name.

And while you may not be aware
of any special link,
Just meeting you has changed my life
A lot more than you think.

For once I’ve met somebody,
the years cannot erase
The memory of a pleasant word
or a friendly face.

So never think my Christmas Cards
are just a mere routine
Or names upon a Christmas list,
forgotten in between.

For when I send a Christmas Card
that is addressed to you,
It’s because you are on the list
of folks who I’m indebted to.

For I am but the total
of the many folks I’ve met.
And you happen to be one of
those I prefer not to forget.

And whether I have known you
for many years or few
In some way you have had a part
in shaping things I do.

And every year when Christmas comes,
I realize anew

The BEST GIFT LIFE CAN OFFER

IS MEETING FOLKS LIKE YOU.

And may the Spirit of Christmas
that forever more endures,
Leave its richest blessings
in the hearts of You and Yours.

Merry Christmas Wreath My vote is to have Christmas traditions all year round. You see at Christmas time most people at least the ones I have met, always change just a little for the better around Christmas. I do not know whether or not it is the great yuletide Christmas carols, the festive atmosphere everywhere you go, or just some hidden part in all of us that screams out,
( I BELIEVE IN MORE THAN WHAT I SEE AROUND ME. )
You see, somewhere deep down inside we all believe in something better than we now have or see, and most of us feel a lot better when we help someone. Whether the person is in need or not, this feeling is what I call the feeling of Christmas, and we all should strive to feel this way all year long.

Enhance your Christmas, with Christmas poems and stories highlighted with your favorite Christmas carols. Christmas traditions are fast becoming a family way of life.
Poems are a simple way of inspiring others to join in on the Christmas traditions that love and poems can bring to this Christmas holiday.

Christmas Traditions of Joy,
both big and small
so precious from the start,
are moments to recall
and treasure in the heart.
